about us

I have worked with young people with Special Educational Needs since my Year 11 work experience and have worked full-time in education since graduating in 2009.

I worked at a special school in Leicestershire from 2009 until 2013 where I took up a role within a local authority autism service working with students who had either withdrawn from school or who were at risk of permanent exclusion from their school placement.

Since 2013 I have worked in a variety of roles within local authority autism services, working in schools, in homes and in the community. During these roles I have worked in a variety of educational placements such as nurseries, primary and secondary schools, special schools and independent and alternative provisions.

I have worked closely with a variety of services including CAMHS (Child Adolescent Mental Health Services) and have worked with students with a variety of diagnoses alongside Autism such as ADHD, OCD, Tourette syndrome and anxiety and eating disorders.

I am passionate about supporting young people with Autism to achieve their potential and relish the opportunity to use the knowledge and experience I’ve built in my professional career to help young people with Autism and their families.

I have a DBS Certificate which is available on request. If you would like to speak to me please contact us.
